Apply Now for a Sparkle Effect Grant
Thanks to Do Something and our friends at Varsity Spirit Fashions, The Sparkle Effect is able to provide free uniforms to all of our teams! We have already outfitted 56 inclusive squads from coast to coast and grant funds are still available! Remember, to qualify for a grant, your team must first be IN. In other words, you must become an official Sparkle Effect team. To do that, you must contact us and establish that your team is inclusive: students with disabilities and typically developing students practice and cheer as one team at school home sporting events.
The Sparkle Effect does not support segregated "special needs teams," where students with disabilities perform without their typically developing peers.

Each Sparkle Effect squad is eligible for one grant (regardless of when the team was formed), as we want to support as many teams as possible. We provide a list of additional fundraising ideas for you should you need additional funds as your squad grows. Also, teams featured in our Sparkle Effect Spotlight (our new team-of-the-month contest) receive free custom warm-up jackets from Varsity Spirit Fashions!
